Flicker
The world is full of
impossibilities and the biggest fear we have is the unknown. Humans can’t live
in fear. Humans need stability and normalcy to live.
That’s why we do what we do.
You’re choosing to hear this
information. By agreeing to our terms, you are giving us permission to share this
with you and after your life will never be the same.
Your life consists of everyday
tasks, each day you live a mundane routine. But, have you ever noticed when the
lights cut out for just a second? Your human mind, it doesn’t even question it.
You don’t even consider anything else other than a shortage in the electricity.
But, it’s far from that.
Flicker. That split second of
darkness is a reset. The world being brought back to life, an electric shock to the Earth’s heart.
How many times have we thought
the world was going to end? How many times have we laughed it off, woke up the
next morning with our world still intact. Well, you have actually died more deaths
than you could imagine.
I am fearless. I have fought,
and I have seen the unimaginable. Once, a ball of fire hurled its way down,
through space and towards us. We were too late to do anything about it and it caught
us by surprise. No scientist, astrologist or fortune teller could predict. The
world went crazy because we knew death was coming.
We knew that we would die, we
knew that for a split second we would feel the pain, see the devastation, but
then it would all go and take us back to that moment, a second after the
flicker. Luckily enough for humans, they don’t remember, it’s nothing to them. But
we have the burden of memory. We are forced watch our planet die, but then we
get to save it. Time is the biggest savour, time allows us to re do our
mistakes, destroy the ball of fire before it destroys us. That is all we can
do. We have the gift of a second chance.
But now, time’s up.
We have no options anymore. We are faced with something new, something that time cannot solve. No matter how many times we reset, we can’t find a solution. You have lived this day many times.
We can’t do this ourselves and now we
need you.
We didn’t want to involve you
this way but now we have run out of options. If you can’t help us, we will just have
to continue living this day on repeat. Again, and again.
Forever stuck in time.
